Our sessions are aimed at novice and first-time shooters, with friendly instructors helping you feel confident, safe and ready to hit your first targets.
Set in a secluded shooting area on the beautiful Escot Estate, just outside Exeter, this is a brilliant way to enjoy the countryside and one of the South West’s most popular outdoor activities.
Once you get your eye in, there is nothing quite like watching the clays break in the sky. Many guests surprise themselves with how quickly they improve — and how much they want another go.

Who can take part?
The minimum age is 12 years. Sessions are aimed at novice and first-time shooters. No shooting licence is required.
What is included?
All equipment is included: gun hire, cartridges and clays. Enjoy a novice shooting session across various stands and scoring rounds, with an instructor on hand to keep things safe and offer pointers. Choose a 20, 30 or 40 bird shoot per person.
What should I wear?
We are a field-based activity centre, so please dress for the weather. Wear comfy activewear and closed-toe footwear, preferably trainers.
How do deposits work?
Book with a low deposit of £10 per person, with the balance payable on the day. See our Terms and Conditions for full booking terms.
Can we book as a group?
Individuals, small and large groups are welcome. The 11th person goes free! Clay shooting is ideal for friends, family, stag and hen parties, corporate events, client days and team building.
Can we make a day of it?
Book clay shooting as a standalone activity or combine it with other activities.
